40-60 WCF Connecticut Cartridge Co. In business from 1962 till about 1975, this company manufactured a line of cartridges advertised as "Cartridges Out of the Past -- Being Produced Again and Sold Here -- Fire your 'Old Favorite' Again".  This box is of the later style, ca 1970. .  Contains all 10 orig smkls ctdgs,  headstamped 40-60, & which still appear quite capable of fulfilling the Co's promise. $60

Winchester. Early 2-pc bx, w/ 200gr JSP bullets showing a small copper tube in the nose. Except for slight separation of rt bottom end (no loss of cardboard or paper), all seams and ends are sound. Earliest top label dating of 10-9 and a later over-printed "Pat, June 3, 1913" found under trade mark callout. [Have seen a similar 1910 overprint referring to a primer change, but don't remember seeing this one before.] $125
