U.S. Ordnance Major James E. Hicks, Vol 2. 1940, 160 pgs. Hardcover, blue cloth w/crossed musket & Garand over flaming bomb as well as author's name in gilt on cvr. Subject is correspondence relating to all sorts of small arms and edged weapons from the Revolutionary War to the 1840s. Some minor btm edge wrinkling from moisture, but not "swollen". This is a scarce & desirable reference work for those interested in the early U.S. weaponry of the American foot soldier. 75
